Two tracks recorded at very different times, but I felt like they worked well enough together to combine them into one song. I recorded Observing The Ocean out of a really wonderful iPhone orchestra/synthesizer app, it was a recording I had been playing around with for a few weeks before I recorded it. Vibrant Thunderstorms was conceived and recorded during the same 2 AM session in the Katy, TX Drury Inn that "Commercial Tinytown" was written in (also the very next day was my first show in Houston at The Doctor's Office on June 15th). The field recording in the background was taken at the beach in Galveston, TX the same weekend that Vibrant Thunderstorms was recorded.
